An invitation to nourish well, move well, live well, and steward well.
Wellness is about more than what we eat, how often we exercise, or the numbers we see on a scale. It is also about how we care for ourselves, the habits we cultivate, and the choices that shape our health over time.
Welcome to The Well Journal, a space dedicated to thoughtful, practical education on nutrition, movement, healthy aging, and whole-person wellness.
I'm Esther Raeschael, MS, a Nutrition & Wellness Educator, Practitioner, and Speaker. My work is centered on helping people better understand their health and develop sustainable practices that support their well-being.
I believe education should do more than provide information. It should help us ask better questions, make informed decisions, and apply what we learn in everyday life.
Through The Well Journal, we'll explore four interconnected areas of wellness:
Nourish Well: Understanding nutrition, food choices, and the science of nourishing the body.
Strengthen Well: Exploring movement, strength, mobility, and the importance of maintaining physical capacity throughout life.
Live Well: Developing sustainable habits that support rest, recovery, resilience, and whole-person health.
Steward Well: Considering the relationship between faith, purpose, responsibility, and how we care for the lives and bodies entrusted to us.
Along the way, I'll share research-informed education, practical guidance, and reflections from my ongoing work and study.
The Well Journal isn't about chasing every new wellness trend or promising quick transformations.
It's about developing understanding, practicing what is useful, and recognizing that meaningful change often happens through small, consistent decisions.
Whether you're navigating the changes of midlife, looking to strengthen your health, or exploring a more intentional approach to whole-person wellness, I hope you'll find something here that informs, encourages, and equips you.
I'm glad you're here.
